How did your company get its name? How did it start?
Our company’s name is based on the cuisine we serve. As longtime vegans we found that vegan food in New Haven was very scarce. We love to cook and share our meals with friends and family introducing them to delicious healthy plant based options. So we decided to take up the challenge of opening up a restaurant.
What kind of person would enjoy your product or service?
People who love flavorful, healthy homestyle cooking would enjoy our food.
What is your most popular service or product?
Our most popular product is our jerk tofu. It is smoky, grilled and marinated in our special bbq jerk sauce.
What’s a business accomplishment that you're proud of?
We are proud of being able to maintain and grow our business. We started off as first-time business owners with no restaurant experience and have been able to successfully provide our community with quality product and service. Even throughout a pandemic we’ve been able to survive.
What’s a long term goal you have for your business?
Our long term goal is to continue to expand our menu offerings and accessibility of our food.
