Kehler Liddell Gallery

Founded by 8 artists in 2003, and an outgrowth of the Westville-based arts renaissance, KLG is one of New Haven's longest running retail galleries to date. KLG artists are all juried into membership, creating a refined and notable group of accomplished artists. Exhibitions of members' work, as well as invited artists, are presented throughout the year.

What kind of person would enjoy your product or service?

Certainly, anyone looking to collect art would enjoy our gallery, our collective of 27 artists have much to offer. For the experience, people strolling by or eating at one of Westville's restaurants enjoy visiting us.

Tell us about your latest product or service.

During covid, we pivoted and introduced a few things that we will continue to offer. First we have SalonThrive, an art conversation and video engaging a selected artist and whomever registers for a free zoom event. Another totally winning product we offer are our monthly Date Night(s) in partnership with a local restaurant.

What makes your business unique?

Located in the heart of Westville village in New Haven, CT, KLG sits comfortably amongst a variety of shops and restaurants on Whalley Avenue, not far from the Yale Campus. Our mission is to represent, present, promote and sell work of local contemporary artists. As champions of free speech, we do not censor our artists' work or written statements. We are dedicated to representing critical perspectives that challenge and illuminate culture and enrich our aesthetic experience.
