Tell us about your background and what inspired you to lead this company.
My company was established in 8th grade when I got a camera for Christmas. I made a website and started taking photos, but when I got to high school I put it off. Then, in 10th grade, my friend called me and that phone call changed my life. She asked if I still have my photography business and then I took those photos of her the next day. When I posted them my business immediately took off and clients flooded my inbox.

Families, students, professionals, couples, etc.!

What’s the most meaningful part of what you do?
One meaningful part of my business was giving 2020 seniors their true senior year that was stripped from them due to covid. Those photos allow them to cherish memories even though they weren’t able to have those essential senior activities. I was proud to give some of my first clients that memorable experience.
What do you see in the future for your business?
One of my goals for Lai Photography & Video is to film or photograph at least 1 wedding by August 2021. I want to take that leap into the wedding business and change the dynamic of my company.
